1. Site Evaluation

Each site is unique in terms of aspects and characteristics. In order to design a high performance system for you, NuWatt Energy™ will evaluate your location by conducting a detailed assessment of::

  • - Panel location and shading
  • - Power distribution
  • - Structural strength of roof system
  • - Aesthetics
  • - Roofing condition (shingles age, etc.)

2. Economic Analysis

NuWatt Energy™'s Financial Analysts will assess your current power utilization levels and costs. The design of an optimized solar energy system will be carried out. A written analysis of the system will be presented showing:

  • - State and Federal incentives and tax credits
  • - Your total gross and net cost of the project
  • - Expected system performance and output
  • - Financial savings of energy costs over the life of your system
  • - Your system's positive impact on environment

3. Engineering Review

Based on site evaluation data, our NuWatt Energy™ Engineering Department will perform the following tasks to ensure a fully synchronized system:

  • - Calculate and Confirm the structural integrity of your roof structure
  • - Design a detailed engineered product and write up products specifications
  • - Develop an electrical line diagrams and confirm electrical code compliance
  • - Confirm structural, seismic and hurricane code adequacy and performance
  • - Produce documentation for timely building permit approvals

4. System Installation

Once you approve of the installation documents, a Project Manager will serve as a single point of contact and accountability and will monitor the process and your installation from beginning to end. NuWatt Energy™ will :

  • - Secure permit approvals
  • - Install all mounting systems
  • - Mount all solar equipment
  • - Wire all electrical components
  • - Connect the system instrumentation panel
  • - Install metering
  • - Coordinate inspections with utility and local building department
